Neology firmly believes in giving back to the open-source community that makes our business possible. To this extent we contribute some of our non-proprietary projects and modifications to the open source community, under the GNU Public License.
We are Linux Kernel, Debian GNU/Linux, squid, memcacheq, openwrt and openradius contributors. By utilising open-source software we are able to create reliable, scalable, affordable and security conscious products. By extending open-source software and enhancing the management capabilities of the software, we achieve great features whilst maintaining reliability our customers expect, due to our source code control and package management systems. We don't sell open-source software. We sell the enhancement, management and integration of open-source systems.

We have forked our own Debian GNU/Linux distribution called "Neologix" which simplifies aspects of Linux systems management via a Cisco-Like, and Web 2.0 configuration interface. The distribution caters for operator style deployments with advanced preseeded configurations for common configurations and platforms, high availability (cluster) extensions and reliable service monitoring.
